Living Meditation

Now more than ever, meditation is the foundation for conscious living. For more and more people who are interested in conscious development, both individually, culturally, and socially, participating in a retreat has become an essential resource. Our lives are becoming faster and faster, more challenging and more complex. Crisis news is taking up more space and time. This makes it all the more important to slow down and deepen your meditation practice.

Our way of teaching meditation is based on human contact and relationships. With us, the focus is on you and your individual path. In a safe space provided by us, you will learn more about yourself than you ever thought possible. You will discover that silence does not mean emptiness, but rather the opportunity to get to know yourself on a deeper level. You will realize that the greatest insights often arise in moments of calm and inner retreat. You will learn that the practice of meditation does not only take place on a cushion, but in every breath of your life.

For us, it is not about achieving something, but about being, simply being. It is about authentically accepting exactly what presents itself to you.

What others say about our Living Meditation Retreats:

So many valuable things... Susanne and Martin's gentle invitations and presence, the clear and simple course structure and facilitation, accessible meditation suggestions and postures that opened up new depths, the continuously expanding meditative field that we created over the four weeks.

*

Susanne and Martin are very experienced teachers. They were able to talk about the topics with a depth that comes from a wealth of experience and the wisdom gained from it. Although English is their second language, they explained the ideas and the inner experience clearly.

*

Susanne and Martin were excellent teachers and wonderfully embody kindness, compassion, and heart-centered leadership.

*

The leaders of the course. Martin and Susanne brought expertise, gentleness, a sense of safety, and above all beauty to the experience.

*

Susanne and Martin are very profound and hold the space with grace.

*

Martin and Susanne were skilled facilitators and brought refreshing and compassionate insights to our exchange. The awareness of our group's field was very valuable and supportive, as my meditation usually feels like a solitary activity.

*

The emphasis that everything that appears in our attention is okay and interesting. I like the loving, natural style of both teachers and appreciate their experience. I find this course very suitable for beginners, as well as for people with more experience or who want to apply mindfulness in their work with people.

*

The course leaders facilitated and shared from a truly authentic position. Their building of our community field of connected practitioners was exceptionally well done and very helpful.

*

I love the “less is more” approach to the teaching parts of the sessions. The content was easy to follow, and both Martin and Suzanne seemed very grounded to me. They looked, sounded, and felt like “experienced practitioners/teachers.”

Transcendental experience

It is a time of silence, of slowing down, of letting go of questions, of inner retreat, of listening to answers. Being, without having to be anyone, in the immediacy of the present. Nothing is expected of you and there is nothing to achieve. The connection to the essence, to the deep source of life, can take center stage.

Through our loving guidance, you will experience a safe and protected space for your meditation. In an increasingly subtle contemplative exploration of the now, we unfold the beauty of the moment. This is not about controlling thoughts or feelings, but about inclusion and the possibility of transcendental experience.

What you gain from our professional guidance:

  • Relaxation
  • Practice of mindfulness and awareness
  • Support for your ability to self-regulate
  • Digital detox
  • Support in the form of one-on-one conversations that support your awareness process
  • Guidance for the next step in your individual meditation practice, your spiritual path
  • Expansion of your ability to focus
  • Co-regulation conversations (integration and transformation)
  • Support in recognizing the synchronicity of meditation and everyday life (difficulties in everyday life in various contexts can prevent meditation from deepening or developing further)
  • Shadow work
  • Support for your subject-object process

You will train these skills during the retreat:

  • Mindfulness/awareness practice of the inner map (3 bodies)
  • Vertical awareness practice (4sync)
  • Horizontal awareness practice
  • Embodiment practice of vertical experience in connection with horizontal embodiment (integration and transformation)
  • Silent meditation
  • Presence meditation
  • Light meditation
  • Soul meditation (incarnation)
  • Nature meditation
  • Writing meditation
  • Sound meditation (music)
  • Contemplation
  • 1st, 2nd, and 3rd face of God; I am, the great You, the Great It
  • Mindfulness practice of what we are aware of
  • Shared space for meaningfulness (in principle, a substitute for the context that religion and tradition offer many people)
  • WE consciousness for the shared space and shared practice; this goes beyond individual experience (in principle, a substitute for the context of religion or tradition)
